What is a Jjimjilbang you might ask. A jjimjilbang 찜질방 is a large, sex-segregated public bathhouse in South Korea, furnished with hot tubs, showers, Korean traditional kiln saunas and massage tables. We took the time to try the saunas and this included the HOTTEST sauna that no normal person should try. Korean spas also offer food and the spa's speciality is always roasted eggs on the hot stones. What you need to know about the Korean spa: 1. You don't need any towels just go there and everything is provided 2. They offer special sauna clothes 3. Suanas are usually shared by men and women (no one is naked!) there are other rooms that might be separated. 4.
