고린도전서 15장 12~19절 부활에 소망을 둔 믿음
부활에 소망을 둔 믿음 (고전 15:12-19). “만일 그리스도 안에서 우리의 바라는 것이 다만 이생 뿐이면 모든 사람 가운데 우리가 더욱 불쌍한 자리라” (고전 15:19). 요즘 기독교인으로서 빛과 소금의 삶을 사는 것이 중요하다고 강조하면서 부활과 천국의 영생을 경시하는 교훈들이 난무합니다. 물론 거룩하고 이타적인 삶도 지향해야 하지만, 영생을 소망하지 않는 사람은 현대판 사두개인에 불과합니다. 성경에 나타난 하나님의 뜻은 둘로 요약됩니다. 첫째, 하나님은 모든 사람이 죄 사함을 받고 천국의 영생을 얻기 원하십니다. 둘째, 하나님은 거듭난 의인들이 남은 생애를 그의 나라와 그의 의를 위해서 살기를 원하십니다. 부활과 천국의 영생은 거듭난 의인들만 누릴 수 있습니다. 따라서 하나님을 믿는 사람의 지향은 천국의 영생이어야 합니다. 아브라함이나 바울 같은 믿음의 사람들도 모두 천국 영생에 소망을 두고, 이 땅에서는 나그네와 행인 같은 삶을 살았습니다. “우리의 돌아보는 것은 보이는 것이 아니요 보이지 않는 것이니 보이는 것은 잠간이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이니라”(고후 4:18). Faith That Hopes for the Resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:12–19) “If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable” (1 Corinthians 15:19). Today, many teachings emphasize the importance of Christian living as the light and salt of the world while ignoring the resurrection and eternal life in Heaven. Of course, we must aim to live holy and altruistic lives, but those who do not hope for eternal life are nothing more than modern-day Sadducees. The will of God revealed in Scripture can be summarized in two points: First, God desires for all people to receive the remission of sins and obtain eternal life in Heaven. Second, God desires for the righteous, who have been born again, to live the rest of their lives for His kingdom and righteousness. The resurrection and eternal life in Heaven are privileges only for the righteous who have been born again. Therefore, the ultimate goal of any Christian should be eternal life in Heaven.
