Https://blog naver com/andrea1111/110 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eui Chun, Lee (Andrea Lee), a Korean bass, entered and graduated from the college of music at Yeongnam University at the top of his class He was a recipient of 'Cheon-ma Scholarship' which is awarded to the most outstanding student in the university After graduating from Yeongnam university, he studied abroad in Italy He graduated from 'National Conservatory of Gioacchino rossini', and continued to study there as a teaching assistant for 2 years Besides, he graduated from the 'Academy of Rome Arts' at the top of his class He has been invited to perform at many concerts from 7 countries of Europe including Italy, Germany, Russia, and etc He performed in the opera 'Aida' (2000), which was the First Outdoor Concert in Korea, and 'Rigoletto' (2005), which was a joint production of Italy and Korea He was invited to perform at the concerts from Sendai (Japan) and New Zealand He also had two recitals He performed at numerous concerts such as 'the Night of Arias' (under the sponsorship of KBS and MBC) and 'the Opera Gala Concerts' within and outside of the country Opera performances He performed Colline(philosopher) in 'La Bohem' by Puccini, Timur in 'Turandot', Angelotti in 'Tosca', Zaccaria(high priest) in 'Nabucco' by Verdi, Sparafucille in 'Rigoletto', and Ferrando in 'Il Trovatore' In addition, He starred in dozens of operas as Ramfis in 'Aida', Ramimondo in 'Lucia Di Lammiermoor' by Donizetti, Basilio in 'Il Barbiere di Siviglia' by Rossine, Satto(a district magistrate) in 'Chun Hyang Jun' by Hyun Jae Myung, and Seonjodaewang (the King of Chosun Dynasty) in 'Yi Sun Shin' Oratorio performances He performed as a bass soloist for 'Messiah' by Handel, and Symphony No 9 by Beethoven He had performed as a soloist for dozens of religious music performances such as 'Solemn Mass' by Gounod, 'Stabat Mater' by G Rossini, 'Cononation Mass' and 'Requiem' by Mozart, Requiem by Verdi, Cantata by Bach, and 'Matthäus-Passion' by H Schütz He was awarded 'Kumbok Culture and Art Prize' in 2001 in recognition of his dedication to the culture and art through dozens of performances with Moscow Symphony Orchestra, Slovakia National symphony Orchestra, Russian Broadcasting Orchestra, Seoul Korean Symphony Orchestra, Korean Pops Orchestra, Daegu City Orchestra, Busan City Orchestra, Daejun City Orchestra, Kyungbook Provincial Orchestra, and Daegu Philharmonie Orchestra He released two CD albums: 'Korean songs and Opera Arias Album' (first album) and 'Sacred Songs'(second album) He was the representative of 'Academia di voce Antica' He was a professor of music at Daegu Catholic University, and he was educated promising young musicians
