[NO.324] 누가복음 11:37-41 / 화 있을진저(1) (말씀:손석구 박사)

37 예수께서 말씀하실 때에 한 바리새인이 자기와 함께 점심 잡수시기를 청하므로 들어가 앉으셨더니 38 잡수시기 전에 손 씻지 아니하심을 그 바리새인이 보고 이상히 여기는지라 39 주께서 이르시되 너희 바리새인은 지금 잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하나 너희 속에는 탐욕과 악독이 가득하도다 40 어리석은 자들아 겉을 만드신 이가 속도 만들지 아니하셨느냐 41 그러나 그 안에 있는 것으로 구제하라 그리하면 모든 것이 너희에게 깨끗하리라 바리새인들과 대 제사장 그리고 장로들과 율법 교사들은 예수님을 잡아 죽이기로 이미 많은 논의를 했습니다 바리새인들은 안식일 논쟁에서 패한 후 처음으로 헤롯당과 함께 예수님을 죽일 논의를 했고(막3:6; 눅6:11) 교훈이나 행위를 통해서는 명분을 찾지 못했기에 예수님이 계시는 더 가까운 곳에 덫을 만들어 걸리도록 유인했습니다 율법교사들은 직접 나서서 예수님께 배우는 척하며 시험하는 질문을 하거나 (10:25) 예수님이 사탄과 같은 편이라고 모함하기도 했습니다(11:15) 바리새인들은 친근한 척하며 식사에 초대해 곤경에 빠뜨리곤 했는데(7:36; 11:37) 이 때마다 예수님은 오히려 천국 복음을 전하셨습니다 오늘 본문에도 예수님이 바리새인의 식사초대에 가셨지만 예수님을 따르는 자들보다 바리새인들과 율법 교사들로 가득 차 있었습니다(53, 54) 초청한 바리새인은 들어가자마자 예수님을 눈여겨봤고 잡수기 전 손을 씻지 않으신 것을 보고 덫에 걸렸다고 생각했습니다 예수님은 주인의 마음을 아시고 먼저 방어와 공격을 시작하셨습니다 영적전쟁은 항상 방어와 공격을 균형 있게 잘해야 합니다 그동안 이들로부터 많은 공격을 받으신 예수님은 이제 반격을 시작하셨고 가르치실 때처럼 주변에 있는 것을 소재로 말씀하셨습니다 “너희 바리새인”이라고 시작하심으로써 바리새인에게 하신 말씀임을 분명히 하셨습니다 예수님은 “지금 잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하나 너희 속에는 탐욕과 악독이 가득하도다”(39)라고 하셨습니다 볼 수 있는 것은 깨끗하고 아름답게 꾸미지만 마음속에는 탐욕과 악독으로 가득 차 있다는 뜻입니다 겉과 속을 모두 만드신 하나님께서 마음과 속도 다 깨끗하고 정결하기를 원하신다는 말씀입니다 예수님은 속을 정결하게 하기 위해 구제하는 사역을 계속 하도록 부탁하시고 있습니다 바리새인들의 가장 큰 문제는 위선입니다 하나님 앞과 사람 앞의 삶이 서로 다른 것을 뜻합니다 하나님께서는 하나님과 사람 앞에서의 삶을 둘로 구분하지 않으십니다 사람의 행동과 마음은 어디에서나 누구 앞에서든지 일치해야 합니다 예수님은 서론적으로 바리새인의 문제점을 제시하시고 앞으로 6가지 큰 문제를, 초대한 바리새인 집 식사상 앞에서 지적하시며 “화 있을진저”라고 저주하십니다(다음) 하나님 아버지! 끈질기게 따라다니며 복음 사역을 방해하는 바리새인들을 인내하시며 가르치고 설득하시는 주님의 모습을 보여 주신 사랑에 감사드립니다 우리도 예수님처럼 인내하는 마음을 주소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다 아멘!! QT Sharing Text: Luke 11:37-41 Title: Woe! (1) The Pharisees, the high priests, the elders, and the teachers of the law had already discussed a lot about arresting and killing Jesus The Pharisees had the first discussion with the Herodians to kill Jesus after losing their Sabbath argument with Jesus (Mark 3:6; Luke 6:11) However, they could not find any justification to kill Jesus through the teachings or actions that Jesus taught So, to further their cause, they made a trap closer to where Jesus was and enticed them to get caught The teachers of the law went out on their own, pretending to be learning from Jesus and asking testing questions (10:25), or creating and spreading rumors such as accusing Jesus of being on the same side of Satan (11:15) And there were many instances where the Pharisees respected Jesus and pretended to be friendly, inviting them to their home for a meal (7:36; 11:37) But each time, Jesus preached the gospel of the kingdom to them Even in today's text, Jesus went to the Pharisees' dinner invitation, but there were more Pharisees and teachers of the law than those who believed and followed Jesus (53, 54) And the Pharisee who invited Jesus began to pay attention to Jesus as soon as he entered He was thinking that he had been caught in a trap he had set in his mind when he saw that Jesus had not washed his hands before he could be caught Jesus knew the intention of this master's heart and began to defend and attack first Spiritual warfare always requires a good balance between defense and attack Jesus has been attacked by them too many times Jesus has now started the counterattack As Jesus did when he was teaching, this time he also started speaking to the Pharisees using what was around him By opening these words, “You Pharisees,” he made it clear that he was speaking to the Pharisees Jesus went on to say, “Now then clean outside of the cup and dish, but inside you are full of greed and wickedness” (39) This means that the Pharisees decorate what the people can see to be clean and beautiful, but their hearts are full of greed and wickedness Jesus is saying that what is wrong with this is that God who made the outside made the inside, and he doesn't know that God, who likes what is clean on the outside, wants the inside to be clean God wants our hearts and minds to be clean and pure Therefore, Jesus is asking us to continue the work of almsgiving in order to purify the inside The biggest problem with the Pharisees is hypocrisy Hypocrisy means that life before God and life before men are different The problem of hypocrisy is that God does not separate life before God and man A person's actions and hearts must be consistent everywhere and in front of anyone Jesus presents the problems of the Pharisees in this way in the introduction and sets up a table in front of the six big problems in the Pharisees' house invited by the Pharisees Heavenly Father! Thank you for your love for showing us the image of the Lord who persistently followed Jesus, persevering, and teaching, and persuading the Pharisees who hindered the gospel ministry Give us patience like Jesus!
