Ingredients 1 Pan fried Anchovies: 1 lb of dried small Anchovy 1 cup of cooking oil ¼ cup of sliced ginger ¼ cup of sliced garlic ½ cup of sugar (Melt with 2 Tbsp of oil) 3 Tbsp of Soy sauce 3 Tbsp of Mirin Cooking wine 3 Tbsp of Rice syrup 1 Tbsp Sesame oil Sesame seeds for garnishing Steps: In a pot, turn heat to medium; add 1 cup of cooking oil, then deep fry sliced gingers until it’s golden brown, then add anchovies and deep fry it until it’s gold and brown for approximately 5 minutes This is the time to add sliced garlic and fry together until garlic is brown Drain everything in a medal container, and set aside Using the same pot, medium to low heat, add sugar and oil until it’s all melted, then add soy sauce, Mirin cooking wine, then add deep fired anchovies stir fry it for 5 minutes Turn off the heat and add some Sesame oil, green onions, chopped green and red jalapenos and garnishing with sesame seeds, before serving 2 Shishito Peppers with Anchovies: 1 lb Shishito Peppers 3 Tbsp Green Onion oil or Garlic oil 3 Tbsp Soy sauce 3 Tbsp Mirin Cooking wine 3 Tbsp Rice syrup 1 Tbsp Sesame oil 3 Tbsp cooked Anchovies Sesame seeds for garnishing Steps: In a pot, turn heat to medium; add Garlic oil and Shishito Peppers, stir fry or roasting them until it turns little brown, add soy sauce and Mirin cooking wine and cook for 5 minutes Then add cooked Anchovies for 1 minute Turn off the heat and add some Sesame oil, and garnishing with sesame seeds before serving 3 Braised Potatoes with anchovies: 2 lb potatoes 3 Tbsp Green Onion oil or Garlic oil 3 Tbsp Soy sauce 3 Tbsp Mirin Cooking wine 3 Tbsp of Rice syrup 1 Tbsp Sesame oil 3 Tbsp cooked Anchovies Chopped green and red jalapenos, green onions Sesame seeds for garnishing Steps: In a pot, turn heat to medium; add Garlic oil and potatoes, grille them until it turns brown on all side, add soy sauce and Mirin cooking wine and cover it for 5 -10 minutes Then add cooked Anchovies for 1 minute Turn off the heat and add some Sesame oil, and garnishing with sesame seeds, green onions, chopped green and red jalapenos before serving Enjoy and don’t forget to share :)
