[NO.229] 출애굽기 34:29-35 / 모세가 시내 산에서 내려오다

29 모세가 그 증거의 두 판을 모세의 손에 들고 시내 산에서 내려오니 그 산에서 내려올 때에 모세는 자기가 여호와와 말하였음으로 말미암아 얼굴 피부에 광채가 나나 깨닫지 못하였더라 30 아론과 온 이스라엘 자손이 모세를 볼 때에 모세의 얼굴 피부에 광채가 남을 보고 그에게 가까이 하기를 두려워하더니 31 모세가 그들을 부르매 아론과 회중의 모든 어른이 모세에게로 오고 모세가 그들과 말하니 32 그 후에야 온 이스라엘 자손이 가까이 오는지라 모세가 여호와께서 시내 산에서 자기에게 이르신 말씀을 다 그들에게 명령하고 33 모세가 그들에게 말하기를 마치고 수건으로 자기 얼굴을 가렸더라 34 그러나 모세가 여호와 앞에 들어가서 함께 말할 때에는 나오기까지 수건을 벗고 있다가 나와서는 그 명령하신 일을 이스라엘 자손에게 전하며 35 이스라엘 자손이 모세의 얼굴의 광채를 보므로 모세가 여호와께 말하러 들어가기까지 다시 수건으로 자기 얼굴을 가렸더라 모세는 시내 산에서 하나님 언약의 말씀, 곧 십계명을 써 주신 돌판을 들고 내려왔습니다 사십일 동안 하나님 말씀을 들으며 지냈으므로 모세의 얼굴에 광채가 났지만 알지 못했습니다(29) 아론과 이스라엘 자손은 광채가 너무 심해 모세 가까이 가는 것을 두려워했습니다 모세는 아론과 회중의 리더들을 불러 안정시켰고 회중들은 안정을 찾은 아론과 리더가 대화를 나누는 모습을 보며 모이기 시작했습니다 모세는 온 회중 앞에서 수건으로 얼굴을 가리고 하나님이 주신 말씀을 다 전했습니다 홀로 하나님 앞에 가서 말씀을 들을 때와 백성들 앞에서 하나님의 말씀을 전할 때에는 수건을 벗었습니다(33-35) 그 이유로 사도바울은 세 가지를 가르치고 있습니다 첫째는 수건으로 가려지는 것은 사라질 옛 언약의 영광, 수건을 벗는 것은 영원히 계속되는 영광을 나타내는 것입니다 둘째로 모세가 말씀을 전할 때는 수건으로 얼굴을 가리지만 죽은 후에는 이스라엘 백성들의 마음에 수건이 덮여 있음을 뜻하고 있습니다 이스라엘이 얼굴을 가리고 거울을 보는 것처럼 구약성경을 읽을 때 잘 보지 못해 영적 마음이 맹인과 같은 상태에 있다는 뜻입니다(고후3:14-15) 그러나 주께로 돌아오면 마음의 수건이 벗겨질 것이라고 말씀하고 있습니다(고후 3:16) 셋째로 주님의 성령이 거하시는 성도의 마음은, 수건을 벗고 거울을 보는 것 같이 주님의 영광을 보게 되고 주님과 같은 형상으로 변해 영광에서 영광에 이르는 변화가 있을 것을 가르치고 있습니다(고후3:18) 예수님을 구원자로 영접하고 하나님의 자녀가 돼 성령이 마음에 오시면 우리도 하나님의 영광에 이르게 될 것입니다(고후3:18) 모세는 시내 산에서 깨진 돌 판을 대신해 새로운 돌 판을 가지고 내려왔습니다 깨진 언약을 새롭게 복구해 돌아왔다는 뜻입니다 하나님과 깨어진 관계를 완전히 회복하고 백성들에게 돌아왔습니다 이제 이스라엘은 하나님과의 관계가 회복됐고 하나님이 주신 계약의 규정에 따라 책임 있는 행동을 해야 합니다 규정을 어기면 법에 따라 죄를 물으실 것이지만, 말씀대로만 행하면 운전자가 교통법규를 잘 지켜 목적지에 도착하는 것처럼 하나님 영광의 나라에 무사히 도착할 수 있습니다 이스라엘을 용서해 주시고 새로운 언약을 맺으신 주님, 예수님을 믿는 성도들이 하나님의 영광에 이르도록 축복해 주신 사랑에 감사드립니다 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다 아멘! QT Sharing Text: Exodus 34:29-35 Title: Moses Coming Down from Mount Sinai Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the stone tablets on which the words of God's covenant, the Ten Commandments, were written Moses spent forty days hearing the word of God so that his face shone, but he did not know it (29) Aaron and the children of Israel were afraid to go near Moses because his face shone so brightly So Moses called Aaron and the leaders of his congregation to calm them down And the congregation began to gather as they watched Aaron, who had regained his composure, and the leader has a conversation At this time, Moses veiled his face with a towel in front of the whole congregation and preached all the words that God had given him However, Moses took off his towel when he went to God alone and listened to the word and preached the word of God in front of the people (33-35) The Apostle Paul teaches three things about why Moses did this First, to be covered with a veil represents the glory of the old covenant that will disappear, and to take off the veil represents the glory that will last forever Second, when Moses preached, he covered his face with a towel, but after Moses died, it meant that the mind of Israel was covered with a towel Just as Israel looks in a mirror with their faces covered, they cannot see well when reading the Old Testament, meaning that their spiritual minds are in a state of being blind (2 Corinthians 3:14-15) But he is saying that when he returns to the Lord, the veil of his heart will be removed (2 Corinthians 3:16) Thirdly, it teaches that the hearts of the saints, where the Spirit of the Lord dwells, will take off the veil and see the glory of the Lord as if looking in a mirror, and change into the image of the Lord, and there will be a change from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18) All these things, when we accept Jesus as my personal Savior, become children of God, and the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts, we too will reach the glory of God (2 Corinthians 3:18) Moses came down from Mount Sinai with new stone tablets in place of the broken ones This word means that the broken covenant has been restored and returned He completely restored his broken relationship with God and returned to the people Israel has now restored its relationship with God and must act responsibly in accordance with the provisions of the covenant God has given to each other If God breaks this stipulation, he will punish the sin according to this law However, if we follow the word God has given us, we can arrive safely in the kingdom of God just as if a driver obeys the traffic laws and arrives at their destination, we can safely arrive at the kingdom of God Dear Lord!
